8 woloso (traditional, Mali)
Woloso, the rhythm of the slaves, is also called Jòn-fòli. It is a rhythm from the children of the Jòn people, born in the King's house (Wolo/born, so/house). Originally, the Jòn people were prisoners of war who were forced into the King's service.
