A 6-Class Online Hand Drumming Series
With Matthew Marsolek and Tracy Topp on alternating Tuesday nights the end of September through the beginning of December. The classes will run on Sept 24, Oct 8 & 22, and Nov 5 & 19, and Dec 3.
This will be an ongoing level 1 series. If you've done a beginning class or series in the past and want to take it further, this is a great opportunity to learn new rhythms and increase your drumming ability. (Matthew and Tracy will be teaching in-person classes in Missoula on off Tuesday nights.)

Class time will be 6:30 - 7:40 pm MST and will cover all the basics of West African hand drumming: rhythm awareness, tones and technique, and traditional rhythms. We'll also email you links to recordings of the classes, charts of the rhythms in a box notation format, and mp3 recordings.
Everyone is welcome! These Zoom classes will feature live djembe and dundun accompaniment and 3
camera angles which include a front view and overhead cameras above the djembe and dundun drums.

The suggested payment is a sliding scale of $12 - $20 per class.
Select your payment option below: $120, $108, $96, $84, or $72 for 6 classes ($20, $18, $16, $14, or $12 per class). We can also take payments over the phone. We ask that students pay for the entire 5 class series when possible (Remember, you can view the class videos at your leisure if you miss a night).
